PEUGEOT and BENETEAU collaborated to create the Sea Drive Concept that marries BENETEAU Ship Control® technology with the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® in order to create a new boating experience. Working with BENETEAU, world leader in the leisure craft industry we designed this demonstrator to show how melding the latest in nautical innovation and 200+ years of Peugeot’s industrial experience can create a radically new piloting experience onboard a motor boat.

The Sea Drive Concept is the result of the cooperation between two innovative programmes; a dialogue between two worlds. The characteristic components of the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® are visible on the demonstrator at first glance:

– The compact steering wheel, directly inspired by the 4 million cars currently equipped with an i-Cockpit. This steering wheels small size makes creates easy & agile handling.

– A large 17-inch touchscreen displaying the Ship Control® interface, for immediate access to the boat’s most important functions.

– A folding panel displaying the main navigational information in the pilot’s line of vision.

– Toggle switches on either side of the wheel giving direct and ergonomic access to the water crafts main functions at all times.
